Jason Bentley is a Los Angeles based music and culture curator, with extensive experience in radio, live music events, and music supervision for film and TV.

Bentley served as Music Director of NPR flagship KCRW radio for over a decade, leading the station’s music department and managing their on-air staff. Concurrently, Bentley hosted KCRW’s acclaimed daily music program Morning Becomes Eclectic for 11 years, and continues as host of the weekly program Metropolis every Saturday night for the station.

As a music supervisor for film, TV, and advertising, Jason has notably produced soundtracks for The Matrix trilogy (Warner Bros), Tron Legacy (Disney), and contributed to the upcoming Top Gun sequel (Paramount).

Bentley has been a featured DJ at major music festivals including Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, HARD festival, San Diego’s CRSSD Fest, and Lightning in a Bottle among others, and hosted the official Coachella festival livestream for six years running.

Bentley recently launched the indie record label Secret Technology, is currently developing a podcast with Coachella for Amazon Studios, and completed a full season of the podcast series The Backstory for Soho House social clubs worldwide.
