Rock Burwell

Zach ‘Rock’ Burwell is a Los Angeles-based composer and music producer originally from New Hampshire. Obsession marks his debut as a feature film composer. The score: atmospheric, synth-driven, uncanny and disorienting, was developed in close collaboration with director Curry Barker, and grew out of a creative partnership that began when the two met through a mutual music project in Los Angeles. Burwell is currently composing Barkers second film, Anything But Ghosts, set to release in 2027.

He began his professional career at nineteen, building a reputation as a producer, recording engineer, and multi-instrumentalist working across hip-hop, alternative, and experimental music. In 2015, he earned his first major placement as a producer on a debut album that has since gone platinum, and has spent the years since expanding his creative scope from artist production into composition and original music.

Burwell also fronts Museum Complex, his alternative rock project, and releases music under his own name.
