Martin Mycoo is a Music Supervisor at Format Entertainment. His love for all genres of music, TV and film led him to a career where they converge: music supervision.
Recently, Martin worked on the Emmy award winning Marvel television series, Moon Knight, supervised the Hollywood Critics Association nominated Young Rock series season two and is currently working on season three. He is also supervising the upcoming Lionsgate feature, Shadow Force. Martin has worked on films and TV shows with various companies including HBO, New Regency, Netflix, Paramount and Marvel Studios.
Previously, Martin was a part of all3Media America’s in-house music supervision team working on unscripted projects including the Emmy award-winning Celebrity Undercover Boss, United Shades of America with Kamau Bell, and 24 Hours to Hell and Back with Gordon Ramsay. He started his music supervision journey working independently on acclaimed web series and independent shorts with up-and-coming producers and directors.
Martin began his career in the music recording industry working with major, indie labels and promotions companies on a variety of album releases for gold to multi-platinum artists including, Mos Def’s “Black On Both Sides”, Mobb Deep’s “Murda Muzik”, Outkast’s “Stankonia” and the Roots, “Phrenology” to name a few.
He received his BA in Communications with a minor in Marketing from San Francisco State University and a certificate in Intellectual Property Law from NYU. He is a rare Los Angeles native – Inglewood born and raised.
